Mark Kelley, who made the beautiful silhouetted picture of two photographers before the front range of the Grand Tetons used over the years in Summit publications, has just released his latest book published in Alaska. "Alaska, A Photographic Excursion," is his ninth book from the great north and includes text by Nick Jans, both a writer and photographer himself. Including both spectacular landscapes and fine pictures of the people from three regions (Southeast Alaska, Prince William Sound and Denali National Park), copies can be obtained directly from Mark (www.markkelley.com) and they are good examples of very successful self-publishing. And a fine guide for anyone planning a trip to Alaska.
