Workshop alum Todd Heisler producing strong work for the NY Times

Where they were, where they burned and how they fit into the very Western scene of Jackson Hole. It was very unusual — and good. Now a staff photographer for the New York Times, they devoted an entire page of his color pictures in the Sunday June 21 issue showcasing his very creative pictures from the Venice Biennale. Oh yes, in the meantime before he went to the Times, he won the Pulitzer Prize in photography while on the staff of the now-departed Rocky Mountain News.
