Stan Honda is a photojournalist with 34 years of experience in New York City and southern California. Over the past few years he has been working on night sky landscapes and other astronomical images taken in locations around the world and even in New York City. He has been a National Park Service artist-in- residence in five national parks. Stan’s recent photos have appeared in NASA’s Astronomy Picture of the Day website, nationalgeographic.com, Newsweek U.S. and Japan, Space.com and Sky and Telescope magazine. He has been part of gallery shows in Flagstaff, AZ, Milwaukee, WI and Albuquerque, NM. A book project, Moving Walls: The Barracks of America’s Concentration Camps will be published in September 2017.
